EASY MONEY. BE FIRST.

  1. See, it’s like this. Donald Trump never talks with his son about a scam that can earn them billions of dollars. They both are too honest for that.

In related news, Trump never touched that woman and hardly knows her. Also, the Iran war is over and Ukraine invaded Russia.

    Now, back to Trump’s finances:

Trump Bought the Stocks. Then Told Millions About Them.

A new media investigation is placing the relationship between presidential investments and public messaging under renewed scrutiny. By comparing financial disclosures with months of social media activity, the report identified a pattern that is fueling fresh debate over ethics, transparency and the limits of presidential financial independence.

The findings have quickly become one of the most closely watched political controversies in Washington.

Donald Trump’s recently disclosed $2.2 billion income and the scale of his stock and cryptocurrency portfolio have intensified debate over presidential ethics. That discussion gained new momentum after a CNN investigation reported that Trump purchased shares in more than 20 companies before publicly promoting many of those same businesses on Truth Social during 2025.

According to CNN, the reporting was based on an analysis that combined Trump’s annual financial disclosure forms with his Truth Social activity. Using artificial intelligence tools to compare the two datasets, CNN identified a pattern in which stock purchases were followed by favorable public comments about the companies, their executives or their products.

CNN reported finding at least 44 separate instances where Trump acquired shares before later publishing complimentary messages about the same companies. The investigation concluded that many of the investments involved major technology and manufacturing firms, with several purchases valued in the hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars.

According to CNN, the timing frequently placed the investments and the promotional posts only days apart. The report also highlighted cases where favorable government announcements affecting certain industries occurred shortly after Trump’s purchases, drawing increased attention from ethics experts and government watchdogs concerned about potential conflicts of interest.

Among the examples cited by CNN were investments in companies such as Nvidia and AMD before the Commerce Department eased certain chip export restrictions. The investigation also noted that Trump later publicly praised companies including Apple and Dell after acquiring shares in those businesses, although CNN did not conclude that the policy decisions were made to benefit his investments.

Trump has strongly rejected suggestions that he improperly benefited from presidential decisions. Explaining how his investments are managed, he said: «My son Eric handles it. I don’t talk to him about things such as this.» He also defended the legality of the arrangement, stating: «There’s nothing illegal, there’s nothing wrong with it.»

Trump argued that although he technically could review every investment held in his portfolio, he deliberately chooses not to. He added that he actually worries about the perception surrounding his family’s investments because nearly every presidential decision affects financial markets, making accusations of inside information almost unavoidable regardless of the circumstances.

Representatives for Trump disputed the implications raised by CNN’s reporting. They stated that every transaction involving the president’s portfolio was executed by outside professional money managers who operate independently and without receiving instructions from Trump or his family regarding the purchase or sale of individual securities.
