The crime rate is way up. What is the best way to prevent crime in America?

Every politician wants to be known as “tough on crime.” No one wants to be seen as “soft on crime.”

The Republicans especially like to rage at crime, especially when the criminals are immigrants, not Christian, poor, and/or black — not so much when the criminals are white, Christian, and Republican.

You don’t hear the same Fox News outrage when it comes to Trumpers Rep. Matt Gaetz, Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Steve Bannon, and all the other traitors who defended and/or attempted what previously was unthinkable in America –a coup — so inconceivable, that many people still refuse to believe the crime they have seen actually occurred.

We also don’t hear much from Republicans regarding gun control while guns are used in thousands of crimes, annually,

Even a respected judge is not immune to “soft-on-crime” criticism. Here are excerpts from a Fox News article written by none other than Sen. Josh Hawley, who, as a coup encourager and thus a traitor to the U.S., is not the best one to complain about criminals.

Supreme Court nominee Judge Jackson’s soft-on-crime sentences are disturbing By Josh Hawley

“While serving on the Sentencing Commission, she (Judge Jackson) supported eliminating the existing child pornography mandatory-minimum sentence.)

(She opposes all mandatory minimums as being blind to circumstances and substituting generalizations for specifics.)

“Those views carried over to Judge Jackson’s time on the bench. Over and over again, she handed down sentences well below the congressionally endorsed Sentencing Guidelines recommendations.}

(Not to mention the many times all judges do that — it’s the purpose of using human judges rather than robots — and she often handed down sentences above those guidelines, but why quibble about facts when you are a mean-spirited Trumper writing for Fox News?)

“Unfortunately, Jackson is not the first judge to do that.”

Right, judges normally impose a range of punishments.

“But she stands out because she also consistently sentenced child pornography offenders below even what liberal prosecutors in Washington, D.C., were seeking.”

(It wasn’t consistent, and prosecutors always ask for the maximum. In most cases, judges look at circumstances and don’t grant the maximum the prosecutors seek. All of Hawley’s shrieking is about normal judicial procedure. The notion that Judge Jackson encouraged child pornography stretches credulity.)

Hawley knows all this, but he is a renowned liar who writes for Fox,, a proven-to-be-lying network. They are Trumpers, and we expect nothing less from them.

But even the most softhearted, squishy Democrats have no idea what “tough on crime” really means:

The Washington Post
The 5-Minute Fix
By Amber Phillips with Caroline Anders

Crime is looking like it’s going to be a big issue in November’s midterm elections — and that has Democrats on the defensive.

“We must invest in our police departments, said Rep. Val Demings (D-Fla.), a former police chief who is running for Senate in Florida.

Ask virtually anyone, winged right or left, about being tough on crime, and you will hear such suggestions as:

  • More police
  • More money spent on policing
  • More laws
  • Tougher judges
  • Longer jail sentences
  • Harsher jail conditions

Everything has to do with increasing the punishment for committing crimes and nothing for reducing the cause of crimes.

Republicans especially are interested in punishment, especially of the aforementioned poor immigrant, brown, non-Christian, blacks:

It (crime) has been fed and fueled in multiple ways by the Democratic Party’s far-left turn,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has said of the country’s recent crime wave.

Strange, how Mitch suddenly seems unconcerned about a mob of people attacking the nation’s capital, attempting to overthrow the United States government, and even causing deaths and injuries. And for certain, he is not worried about gun crime.

To Mitch, criminals are street, not white-collar, criminals, who are born bad and born black.

Syracuse Police Handling of 8-Year-Old Black Boy Reminds Us How Anti-Black Blue Lives Can Be

From 2019 to 2020, the homicide rate in the United States jumped nearly 30 percent, according to FBI data, marking the largest increase since we started keeping track of those stats.

Third Way, a Democratic think tank, found that cities (run by Democrats and GOP-led) in red states were hit harder by the 2020 murder surge than blue states were.

Democrats who have been recently elected as mayors in liberal cities such as New York and Seattle have campaigned on being tough on crime.

“There is little doubt that the sheer stress and strain of the pandemic, not to mention the economic dislocation, helped to push up homicide rates,” criminologist Richard Rosenfeld told Witte.

Democrats are nervous about getting tagged as anti-police — again. This time, they’re already campaigning on more funding for police departments.

And none of this “tough on crime” blustering addresses the root cause of most street crime: PovertyPoverty is the mother of crime.

Yes, crime has many parents — that “stress, strain, and economic dislocation” to name three. But walk through any wealthy area, and you will fear street crime far less than in an impoverished area.

Republicans are adamant in their desire to apprehend and punish street criminals. However, while apprehending and punishing after the fact may be their focus, Republicans have no desire to address prevention.

They are adamant in their opposition to gun control, to keep guns out of the hands of potential criminals, and to reduce the lethality of the guns being sold, which would have a significant impact.

Similarly, Republicans vote against anti-poverty benefits, i.e., Social Security for All, Medicare for All, School lunch programs, housing aid, food aid, college for all, and the myriad other easily affordable (by the federal government) programs that would reduce poverty and crime in America.

The right dismisses them all with one word, “socialism,” then blindly continues to chatter about the need for tougher police and harsher sentences.

(White-color crime and political crime are OK, except if found on a Biden laptop)

Even the Democrats have been dragged into the false rhetoric:

“Fund the police,” Biden roared at his State of the Union address this spring, to bipartisan applause.

Yes, fund the police. We do need well-trained, well-paid police. Digging recruits from the bottom of the barrel, and then without training, setting them loose on the public, is no way to be tough on crime.

Fund the police, but also fund the people.

Our Monetarily Sovereign federal government, having the infinite ability to spend dollars, can cure poverty in America without levying one cent in taxes or causing inflation.

There is a reason why poor areas of the country endure more street crime than wealthy areas. It’s not that poor people are innately more dishonest. They simply have less money and less of what money can buy.

They have the same desires the rich have but fewer means of satisfying them. So they steal. It has been the same for time immemorial.

We can curse the darkness by arresting a hungry kid for stealing food from a grocery store and locking him up forever, or we can light a candle by giving him food, shelter, and reasonable hope for his future.

For some reason, we have lately shown a greater desire to beat down than to lift up, and that truly is wrong. It is wrong morally and as an effective solution.

Beating down may satisfy the mob’s bloodlust, but it will not reduce crime, and it will turn on the innocent.

MONETARY SOVEREIGNTY

Florida’s “Keep Our Kids Ignorant” bigot laws.

The Republican Party long ago had exceeded its stupidity quota. Remember, these are the boobs who, in a brief moment of clarity, admitted on camera that Trump and his MAGA fools had attempted a takeover of the federal government, only a few days later, to deny what they said.

(“Pay no attention to what I said on camera. That wasn’t me. It was the devil that made me do it. That was no attempted coup; it was a simple tourist visit and a discussion of voting.”)

Now these same boobs, led by the worst governor in America, Ron DeSantis (who because he’s the worst is encouraged to run for President of  the United States), have outdone themselves in both absurdity and cruelty, by dreaming up the mean-spirited “Florida’s Parental Rights in Education act” or “Don’t Say Gay” mind-control bill.Disney vows to help repeal 'Don't Say Gay' law

The ostensible purpose of this grotesque measure is to prevent children from deciding whether or not to be gay.

The Republican belief, supported by no science, but only by their own bigotry, is that before 4th grade, kids make a decision to be straight or to be gay, and misled children will be influenced to make the wrong decision.

So, keeping them ignorant is the only way to prevent gayness.

In the GOP/DeSantis world, ignorance not only is encouraged but required.

(In DeSantis’s fevered mind, gay teachers are making a concerted effort to turn otherwise straight kids into gay kids. I’m not sure where he got this information — I never have heard of this effort — or why he personally feels so threatened by gay people.)

Perhaps he himself has yearnings he cannot explain.

At any rate, that bill comes on top of Florida’s “Stop WOKE Act,” another Republican thought-control measure to prevent the teaching of America’s racial history (slavery, bigotry, et al), because such historical facts might make some students feel guilty about what their ancestors did.

Again, keeping kids ignorant of the facts we don’t like is what the GOP believes schools should do. (This may especially be true in the American South, where slavery denial resembles Holocaust denial in its effect.)

Those 54 DeSantis-Banned Textbooks Teach Kids To Be Kind And Acknowledge That Black Mathematicians Exist

According to the DeSantis laws, parents (who clearly know more about teaching than teachers who graduated with degrees in Education) have the right to sue teachers for teaching anything that makes kids uncomfortable. (Like algebra or music?)

We feel that the DeSantidiots have not gone far enough in their unrelenting efforts to pander to the least intelligent among us. (May I use the word, “intelligent”?) So we offer these suggestions for things about which parents may wish to sue teachers:

Teachers and school boards can be sued for teaching how, in America:

  1. Tall kids have beat up on short kids (It’s OK to be short.)
  2. Christians have bullied Jews (It’s OK to be Jewish.)
  3. Christians have bullied Muslims (It’s OK to be Muslim.)
  4. Citizens have bullied immigrants (It’s OK to be an immigrant.)
  5. Whites have attacked Native Americans (It’s OK to be a Native American>)
  6. Blacks were enslaved (Slavery is bad.)
  7. Whites were bigoted toward blacks, browns, yellows, and reds (Bigotry is bad.)
  8. Straights bullied gays (It’s OK to be gay.)
  9. There are health problems with being overweight (Heavy can be a medical  problem but should not be a social problem.)
  10. People prefer clear skin to pimples (Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, the pimples emerge, but eventually they go away.)
  11. Divorce vs staying in an abusive marriage (What constitutes an abusive relationship and how not to be an abuser or abused.)
  12. Getting good grades is better than getting bad grades. (How to get help with your grades.)
  13. Some kids benefit from special education (Needing special education does not mean you’re dumb.)
  14. Winning is better than losing. (Even if you lose, you’re not a “loser.”)
  15. Physically or mentally disabled children have been bullied (We can give you love and attention)

You probably could think of more topics to ban and school books to burn, all in the service of parents’ rights and student comfort.

In order to keep children as ignorant and misinformed as possible, the “dont say gay” bill requires the school district to ban the teaching of LGBTQ topics in the classroom.

Schools would not be allowed to “encourage” (whatever “encourage” means) discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity in primary grade levels, or in a manner that is not “age-appropriate” or “developmentally appropriate” for students.

What a wonderful “gotcha” clause that is, since no two people on this planet will agree on what is “age-appropriate” and “developmentally appropriate,” but if you, a teacher, guess wrong, you will be sued.

This guarantees that education will descend to the lowest, least meaningful, least informative level. To avoid being sued, the wise teacher will teach nothing, thereby cementing Florida’s educational reputation.

Parents who feel their child was subjected to a discussion or educated about, gender identity and sexual orientation have the right to take legal action and sue the school district for violating the bill.

Let’s parse that statement:

  1. Parents may sue based only on a feeling. (“Your honor, I filed suit because I have a feeling something is wrong.”)
  2. Their kid need not even partake in the discussion of the prohibited subjects; he simply can overhear or even know about such a discussion
  3. Gender identity can mean anything from addressing the teacher as “Mrs.” Jones, to “Miss” Jones, to “Ms.” Jones. If the teaches wants to be called “Ms.,” that alone educates the kids about gender identity and is grounds for suit.
  4. If a gay kid is bullied by straight kids, and the teacher tries to tell the straight kids that’s not OK, the school district and the teacher can be sued for teaching about sexual orientation.

The Republican party, who proposed the bill, says the aim of House Bill 1557 is to limit these discussions from Kindergarten to 3rd grade.

“It just says we don’t talk about these things until kids are out of third grade. That’s all it says,” said the sponsor of the bill, Rep. Joe Harding, (R-Williston).

So if a 3rd-grade kid asks, “Why does Jimmy wear nail polish?” the teacher cannot answer, for any answer at all could be considered “talking about,” or “discussing” gender identification.

An Oklahoma Senate bill would ban public schools from employing anyone who “promotes positions in the classroom or at any function of the public school that is in opposition to closely held religious beliefs of students,” which would in many cases deny people of a job based on their religious beliefs.

Allow cheeseburgers to be among the dishes served at a party attended by orthodox Jewish kids and get sued. Or allow the kids to eat almost anything on Lent and you’re in big trouble.

Schedule classroom days on any of the dozens of Jewish holidays (plus every Saturday), along with the various Christian, Muslim, and other religions’ holidays, and you will be sued. (Hmm, does National Pfeffernüsse Day, every December 23, count?)

And lest you believe the GOP is opposed to “Cancel Culture” only for the very young, the bill also would ban requiring public university courses on “gender, sexual, or racial diversity, equality, or inclusion”.

I’m not sure who would do the requiring, and why only public universities but not private universities, but the intent seems to be to keep everyone as ignorant as DeSantis followers, and that truly is ignorant.

What is it about Republicans vs. sex and race? They dost protest too much.

MONETARY SOVEREIGNTY

Why Republicans win

Logically, Republicans never should win an election:

Republicans still remain the party of plutocrats
By Paul Krugman, NY Times, 4/17/2022

I can’t tell you what the official Republican economic program is, because the party doesn’t have one — in fact, it has made a point of not saying what it will do if it regains power.15797932

We do, however, know what the party did when it was last in power:

It gave huge tax cuts to the wealthy, while almost succeeding in repealing the Affordable Care Act, which would have caused tens of millions of Americans to lose health insurance.

There’s no reason to believe it won’t once again pursue anti-worker, pro-plutocrat policies if it regains control.

At the state level, the debacle in Kansas has apparently done nothing to shake Republicans’ faith in the magical power of tax cuts for the affluent.

Mississippi — America’s poorest state, with the lowest life expectancy — is slashing income taxes.

And recently Sen. Rick Scott of Florida, who heads the Republican senatorial campaign, released a “Rescue America” plan that called for tax increases on the half of Americans whose incomes are low enough that they don’t pay income taxes (even though they pay payroll taxes, sales taxes and so on).

He also warned, falsely, that Social Security and Medicare are headed for bankruptcy, without offering any suggestions about how to preserve them.

Senior Republicans have said that they don’t support Scott’s agenda but haven’t explained what their actual agenda is — and have left Scott in his key campaign position, suggesting that his views have wide support within the party.

So everything suggests that the Republican Party is as pro-wealthy, anti-worker as ever. It hasn’t made any gestures toward actual populism. Why?

The answer, presumably, is that the GOP caters to plutocrats, even as it attacks “elites,” because it thinks it can.

After all, being nice to plutocrats and crony capitalists can yield tangible rewards, not just in the form of campaign contributions but also in the form of personal enrichment.

And the Republican Party doesn’t believe that it will pay any price for pursuing these rewards.

It believes that its supporters will focus on denunciations of critical race theory and buy into conspiracy theories while not even being aware of what the party is doing for the very rich.

After The New York Times revealed Jared Kushner’s highly questionable $2 billion deal with the Saudis, Fox News simply ignored the report, while harping endlessly on Hunter Biden.

I wish I could say with any confidence that this cynicism will backfire. But I can’t.

In particular, Democrats who want to campaign on bread-and-butter issues are assuming that voters will understand who’s actually buttering their bread. And that doesn’t look at all like a safe assumption.

You should wonder what the GOP has going for it. Surely it has no plans for anything. In fact, Mitch McConnell has made it a part of the GOP strategy to be for nothing, lest that plan be criticized.

The rest of their strategy consists of lobbing hand grenades at anything Democrats propose and magnifying any real or invented flaws in programs that benefit people. That, plus mongering hatred of immigrants, blacks, browns, yellows, reds, women, gays, Muslims, “libs,” “leftists,” and “woke,” –in short, hatred of everyone except rich, white, Christian men — is all the GOP offers.

They claim to want “law and order” while supporting the worst criminal in American politics. More than a criminal, he is a traitor who fomented an attempted overthrow of America’s elections, and he still does.

Why does “all-hatred, no-benefits” gather votes? No need to look for logic. There is none.

The vast majority of GOP voters repeatedly vote for their own slavery and impoverishment. The Plutocrat by Booth Tarkington - First Printing of the First Edition - 1927 - from Renaissance Books (SKU: 15520)

Instead, look at the voters themselves. They mistake lies and cynicism for truth and evidence.

In the previous post, we derided those people who refused the COVID vax.

The vax has proved to be a medical miracle.

Unlike Donald Trump’s delays and misstatements, which cost a million Americans their lives and millions more their health, the vax has saved many millions from hospital visits and the cemetery.

And the vax is free, courtesy of the government (which Republican voters are told to hate if it’s progressive) and unlike the previous administration, the vax is safe and effective. It actually works.

The vast majority of vax refusal is not for any real medical reasons, but for reasons beyond human comprehension.

Here is a real sampling of Republican responses I’ve received to that article:

Too stupid to even read it all. However, on the bright side. This “vaccine” is going to weed out the stupid and mentally weak….

Take your clot shot and stick it up your rectum. DRY. Those of us who KNOW what it is and what it’s TRUE purpose is will NEVER take it. So make your smart assed, Leftist virtue signaling comments all you want, asswipe. We’ll be the ones laughing when you get what you DESERVE.

Such a nice guy who wrote this…..I wonder if he is still alive. If he is it won’t be for long. The next WAX will get him.

It’s interesting to see how a communist actually thinks from time to time. Remind me of how government made anyone’s life better other than giving themselves raises. In that there has yet to be anything isolated and identified as a’COVID-19’ virus, it still takes a REAL WINNER of the ‘Darwin Award’ by accepting the king of all experimental failures but monetarily blessed Bill Gates and his cavalier attitude about shooting up innocent people with untested ‘Witch’s Brews’. Gates &Co. have disabled, sterilized and killed millions of people, and he is not to be trusted. His self-obsessed nature and his disdain for all other cultures makes his grandiose inoculation campaigns immoral and by their damaging nature, illegal.

If there was a real vaccine I might be inclined to participate in the experiment. And as far as graphs go>>> propaganda is a fools comfort. Trust in a lying government bent on wars and depopulation for their own benefit is a mindless sheeple act of conformity for the so called greater good. Ignorance should be ignored. Lastly why would someone who is double.tripled and quadrupled vaxxed worry about someone who is not! That is unless they don’t work.

And the Easter bunny is real too you dumb fuck!!! Are people really that stupid???? Wow!!!!!

Guess you haven’t seen the thousands of videos showing vaxxed with uncontrollable tremors, nor the hundreds of athletes dropping dead from cardiac arrest, nor
the massive amounts of stillbirths, nor the children with myocarditis, nor the VAERS’ reports showing 26,000 US citizens dead (only 1% reported), nor the 9 ages of adverse effects in the Pfizer released documents. This makes me wonder: are you living under a rock or are you irrevocably buy brainwashed???????

I’m not vaxxed because of a blood clot risk medical condition. Why no medical exemptions? These jabs are great blood clot makers. massive clots found in the dead. like sixty-two percent clotting risk. I have elevated homocysteine risk. Had it checked in the emergency room again a few weeks ago and still elevated. found that I had after surviving a pulmonary embolism massive clot in my lung. on blood thinner 15 years and still out of normal range. has never been in the normal range on a blood thinner. why no exemptions, because it is a genocide weapon. I don’t want any of it in my body. Can anyone really be sure of what it would do when a person has chemo treatment for cancer? I have cancer remission and don’t want this if it interferes with treatment. The Plutocrat - Home | Facebook

This woke tard forgot to say that if you are part of the 1/3rd that it is you who will bury the other 2/3rds. Anyone who doesn’t understand by this point that this is for a mass culling of the population simply hasn’t been paying attention. This is mass genocide on a global scale. Only a weak minded easily influenced person would be swayed by this type of rhetoric. As one poster has already said, you can have mine too. I have no need for it.

Extremely ignorant article! I don’t vax because I am NOT a CANNIBAL. I will not allow human fetus parts into my blood stream. Nor do I worship Satan or the serpent.
The creator gave us everything we need to be healthy. Injecting heavy metal poison into blood stream and calling it a vax is beyond ignorant. Also I am just not stupid enough, am not brain dead enough, will regard with the highest suspicion ANYTHING O-Biden & Obamanation says and if they say take the vax I will do everything in my power to avoid it. Much like I would avoid a criminal sales person selling junk. Also I don’t want to allow EXPERIMENTAL gene therapy that will allow a corporation to change my DNA and OWN me per US Supreme Court.
I do not want to Help the CABAL (Bill Gates, Soros, Krause, Rockefeller, Rothschild, federal not reserve owners, etc.)
can make more money…
Help the CABAL can rewrite my DNA…
Help the CABAL can rewrite my memories…
So the CABAL can kill off any “useless eaters” (those retired after a life of hard work)…
So the CABAL can enslave the entire Earth for profit…
So anyone refusing slavery can be terminated by satellite to their specific vax number
and I.D. from space and most importantly…
So you will own nothing and be happy! I will not forget about the millions who have died from the vax, don’t worry about the side effects because you’re doing your part to enable EVIL and enslave the planet since you refuse to think, refuse to.

Well this dumb fuck is dumb as a fucking stump, and if you’re reading this dumb fuck, with the 1/3 you say not taking the vaccine, which is a lot more. but let’s go with 1/3. That gives you more opportunity to get more vaxed! get your fourth fifth sixth seventh eighth booster motherfucker get 10 or 15 jabs you stupid Fuckery fucktard. do it! and fuck you and fuck your mommy fuck your daddy fuck your kids fuck your dog fuck you fuck your cat fuck your wife oh!!! Think of the mentality responsible for those comments. Think of the intelligence or lack thereof.

Ask any Republican voter to explain why he votes that way, and he will give you a diatribe of hatred for the abovementioned immigrants, gays, et al, but no real benefits to be received.

Combine those weird beliefs with the total absence of any aid to the public from the GOP, and you enter the byzantine mind of a GOP voter.

When you examine the GOP base, you can understand why, beyond all logic, the GOP is projected to win Congress in the fall, and possibly the Presidency in two years.

  8. Or finally, you may say it’s because you are a Republican, and you prefer to take ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, or Trump Water. If so:

TUCKER CARLSON WANTS TO MAKE SURE PEOPLE KNOW HE’S AN ANTI-SCIENCE IGNORAMUS

The Fox News host proudly announced at a church event this month that he’s unvaccinated against COVID-19. BY BESS LEVIN, APRIL 12, 2022

As one of Fox News’ most committed purveyors of bullshit, Tucker Carlson has been a reliable source of anti-vax misinformation since the COVID-19 vaccines became available.

He’s claimed they simply don’t work, used unverified data to suggest an inordinate number of people have been killed by them, likened mandates to Nazi experiments, and warned viewers the government is using the shots as a form a “social control.”

Yet for some reason, Carlson would steadfastly refuse to reveal whether he himself was vaccinated.

The Fox News host apparently had a change of heart this month, bragging about choosing not to get any of the jabs available to him. “I skipped the first three, I’m not getting that one either,” he told the crowd.

Last year, amidst Carlson’s tirades against vaccine requirements, MSNBC host Chris Hayes called out the ridiculous hypocrisy of Carlson dubbing Joe Biden’s mandates “irrational” and “a form of sadomasochism” while working for a company with stricter rules than the government.

“If you truly believe you are suffering under the sadomasochistic heel of a tyrannical employer,” Hayes said, “even if they are paying you lots and lots of money, even if you don’t want people to think you’re a total fraud, then you have got to have the guts to call out Fox News or resign in protest.”

Obviously, Tuck did neither of those things.

If, instead of believing a fool like Tuck, you prefer facts, and you are interested in knowing the odds you face against living without a shot, check out this graph.

If you are unvaccinated, you are 20 times more likely to win a *Darwin Award than is a fully vaccinated (with booster) person.

*A Darwin Award is given to someone who dies because he/she does something really stupid. His death improves the human gene pool by precluding him from fathering (or mothering) more stupid people.

Believing what you hear on Fox News, especially Tucker Carlson will move you into Award contention.

So a great big “Thank you” to all who trust Fox News and/or reject vaccination for the above-mentioned reasons, and in doing so, manage to win Darwin Awards.Alfred E Neuman Mad Magazine What Me Worry Black Text T Shirt

THE SOLE PURPOSE OF GOVERNMENT IS TO IMPROVE AND PROTECT THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE.

The most important problems in economics involve:

  1. Monetary Sovereignty describes money creation and destruction.
  2. Gap Psychology describes the common desire to distance oneself from those “below” in any socio-economic ranking, and to come nearer those “above.” The socio-economic distance is referred to as “The Gap.”

Wide Gaps negatively affect poverty, health and longevity, education, housing, law and crime, war, leadership, ownership, bigotry, supply and demand, taxation, GDP, international relations, scientific advancement, the environment, human motivation and well-being, and virtually every other issue in economics. Implementation of Monetary Sovereignty and The Ten Steps To Prosperity can grow the economy and narrow the Gaps: Ten Steps To Prosperity:

  1. Eliminate FICA
  2. Federally funded Medicare — parts A, B & D, plus long-term care — for everyone
  3. Social Security for all
  4. Free education (including post-grad) for everyone
  5. Salary for attending school
  6. Eliminate federal taxes on business
  7. Increase the standard income tax deduction, annually.
  8. Tax the very rich (the “.1%”) more, with higher progressive tax rates on all forms of income.
  9. Federal ownership of all banks
  10. Increase federal spending on the myriad initiatives that benefit America’s 99.9%

The Ten Steps will grow the economy and narrow the income/wealth/power Gap between the rich and the rest.
