Trump’s mass deportation in two pictures

Donald Trump wishes to deport all undocumented immigrants, not just criminals but all, including those families that have worked, paid taxes, been assets to our economy, and broken no laws. He also wishes to deport birthright children.

Here is Trump’s America in two pictures. Will this be your America?

Soon, you will begin to see photos like this. Is this cruelty necessary? Is this how your America treats the less fortunate?

  1. If this happens, and it sounds like it will, a lot of the low-paying nasty jobs will not get done. Labour costs will rise, and of course prices will increase more than rate of the average person’s buying power. I am predicting a new depression, though I know nothing about economies.

    1. If he deports millions and enacts the duties, he claims he will, we will have a depression that he will blame on the Democrats and the “deep state.” Elon Musk will make more billions while kicking people out of their jobs. The deficit will fall. The middle- and lower-income people will suffer. The MAGAs will nod dumbly and vote for more poison in two years.

      1. As of this writing, Trump is ahead in the popular vote by <1.6%, and most of the few states left to count the last <5%, which includes California, are blue states. Democratic states want to count every possible vote, giving them extra time & opportunity to cure votes (missing signatures, bad postmarks, etc.), even though they haven’t done nearly enough to prevent voter purging beforehand. Read investigative reporter Greg Palast’s articles or watch his film, “Vigilantes” to see how 100s of 1000s of voters were purged before they even voted, mostly Democrats or independents who would vote Democrat.

Trump is sitting under 50% of the vote total now; most people voted for someone else.

After Trump’s 3 Representative picks get pulled out of the House, the Republicans will only have a 217-215 majority. It takes 218 to make a majority if the House has ALL its positions filled, but under the rules they need only a majority of those filled, not including vacancies, to control the House.

I predict the House will fall to the Democrats in 2026, when the full destructive results of Trump and Musk’s cutting is obvious, including Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid/Obamacare, all but the last two of which Trump promised not to reduce. Musk and Ramaswamy have now realized you can’t cut $2t out of the budget without cutting those programs. There’s no way they will accept tax hikes to cut the debt, nor will Trump. They all follow conventional economics of Milton Friedman and still think the federal budget is like the household or business budget. This is what they’ve said and what their MAGA followers believe too. You can’t convince them otherwise, because they hate the government (at least until the programs they rely on are cut) and wish it harm always.

But independents and never Trumpers are enough to overcome the voter purges – as long as they don’t get worse, and they could since few are paying attention to that, and the courts are too slow. Besides, there’s a new bill that just passed the House to add 66 new federal judges over the next 3 presidential terms, starting with up to 25 under Trump next term. The Democrats were for it until they lost, but Biden’s predictable veto can be over-turned once the bill is reintroduced next term. Then, the MAGAs may have enough to survive appeals against voter purges. So far, they haven’t, but the courts are still too slow and the backlog is an argument for more judges, so it’ll get the bill passed.

If Trump can help end the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine, the economy may boom for a while, though oil may not get much cheaper, because when oil drops below $65/barrel, American oil companies stop drilling marginal wells, which is most of them now. So drill everywhere doesn’t work in the real world. Fracking has 5-7 years to live anyway, then oil goes up again if there are too little viable alternative energy sources (those Texas wind turbines are often used to power oil drills).
