Despite all the evidence against him, Trump never will go to jail, because IT ONLY TAKES ONE REPUBLICAN to ignore the evidence, ignore the law, and find Trump not guilty.
There is no way to keep at least one right-wing, knucklehead off the jury.
Here is why Trump will not be President, again.
The Republican refusal to acknowledge the evidence and the law will inflame the moral, patriotic, rational voting public.
Thankfully, they are the majority of this divided nation.

I agree it only takes one MAGAt to hang a jury, but if it’s the tight MAGAt they may be pressured to vote to convict. MAGAts by definition are not strong-willed people, they can turn with the tide. Time will tell.
As for the Presidency, I don’t think Trump will even be nominated, whther because of the 14 Amendment or something else. Nor will it be DeSantis. Who? I have no idea. But if they get the consent of the MAGAts, they might not be so scary as Trump would be to Independents. Again, only time will tell.
The Democrats will likely win, but there are other factors like “No Labels” and the Green Party. They could steal votes and make it a tight race. Nothing is ever set in stone. Remember 2016! The Dems need to work their asses off to get their voters to the polls. If not, the outcome is not guaranteed.

It does, but as far as I know, they are planning on running a candidate, so they can affect the outcome. Meanwhile, not knowing how your politics works, is there any way to stop them running a candidate. They really don’t deserve to be involved in any way.

There is no way to stop them other than to appeal to their common sense. Hah!
Surely, they must know they cannot win offices, and even their message (whatever that may be) will not resonate. To my eye, they are a bunch of spoiled teenagers, stamping their feet and screaming, “Give me attention, or I’ll ruin the whole party.”
Their alternative was to try to get things done by working within one of the political parties, but then, that wouldn’t give them the attention and the free plane rides that running for President provides. Their bratishness may very well win it for the Republicans, which is why I view them as a false flag operation.
Fortunately, the hopeless Libertarians are on the other side, so perhaps that will balance things.

If it were true that a moral, patriotic, rational voting public is a majority, then neither corporate warmonger party would be in power.
I don’t know who will win the presidential election, and don’t particularly care, because it will change nothing of importance. The rich will still be in charge, Congress will still be bought and paid for, the foreign wars will continue, homelessness will continue, Covid will continue, climate change will continue, and so forth.

Dan, don’t give up. There are major differences.
Were it not for Democrats, there would be no Social Security, no Medicare, no Medicaid, no Obamacare, no Civil Rights Act, No Voting Rights Act, no Elementary and Secondary Education Act and Higher Education Acts, no National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Endowment for the Arts Acts, no food stamps, and many other programs that help narrow the gap between the rich and the rest.
The GOP would like good people to believe “there is no difference” and not show up to vote so that bad people can run rampant.
Without the Democratic Party, America would be all Nazi, all the time.

According to the talkers on MSNBC and elsewhere, Trump is going to go to jail because, in a jury setting, the chosen people tend to be honest. I didn’t say this; a big-shot MSNBC guest said it. I, for one, hope this is correct.

The MAGAs are a different breed. They feel a cult love for Trump greater than the way you feel about your wife or children. That is what a cult is all about. Would you vote to convict your wife or child?
I pray I am wrong, but I read that the jury in one of Trump’s indictments, just one juror voted against EVERY charge. That could not be an honest assessment of his guilt. You have to assume it was a MAGA cult member.

Look at the current polls. Trump has a clear shot of winning back the WH. But you’re right about the fact he’s not gonna get convicted, at least not before Election Day.
