Mitchell’s laws: The more budgets are cut and taxes inceased, the weaker an economy becomes. To survive long term, a monetarily non-sovereign government must have a positive balance of payments. Austerity = poverty and leads to civil disorder. Those, who do not understand the differences between Monetary Sovereignty and monetary non-sovereignty, do not understand economics.

Some things never change.
Back then:
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Kansas evolution hearings were a series of hearings held in Topeka, Kansas, United States May 5 to May 12, 2005 by the Kansas State Board of Education and its State Board Science Hearing Committee to change how evolution and the origin of life would be taught in the state’s public high school science classes.
The hearings were arranged by the Board of Education with the intent of introducing intelligent design into science classes via the Teach the Controversy method.
The hearings raised the issues of creation and evolution in public education and were attended by all the major participants in the intelligent design movement but were ultimately boycotted by the scientific community over concern of lending credibility to the claim, made by proponents of intelligent design, that evolution is purportedly the subject of wide dispute within the scientific and science education communities.
The Discovery Institute, hub of the intelligent design movement, played a central role in starting the hearings by promoting its Critical Analysis of Evolution lesson plan which the Kansas State Board of Education eventually adopted over objections of the State Board Science Hearing Committee, and campaigning on behalf of conservative Republican candidates for the Board.
And recently:
Rick Santorum: “I had an amendment, it’s a great story, I had this language, because what’s taught in our school system as a result of liberal academia, is <evolution is an incontrovertible fact. There is no suspicion of it. It is decided science that cannot be questioned. There cannot be any doubts about it. If you have any questions or doubts, it’s trying to inject religion into the science classroom. So it is above reproach.
I obviously don’t feel that way. I think there are a lot of problems with the theory of evolution, and do believe that it is used to promote to a worldview that is anti-theist, that is atheist.”
And now:
Washington Post: By Felicia Sonmez and Brady Dennis, Published: March 10
Former senator Rick Santorum (Pa.) cruised to a victory in the Kansas caucuses with 51 percent of the vote, sweeping all but one of the state’s 105 counties, the Associated Press reported, and bolstering his argument that he, and not former House speaker Gingrich, is the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney.

No nation can tax itself into prosperity, nor grow without money growth. Monetary Sovereignty: Cutting federal deficits to grow the economy is like applying leeches to cure anemia. Two key equations in economics:
Federal Deficits – Net Imports = Net Private Savings
Gross Domestic Product = Federal Spending + Private Investment and Consumption + Net exports
#MONETARY SOVEREIGNTY
I’m unsure why you have posted this on a monetary site. But as a very strong former believer in major evolution ie from very basic life to advanced life forms and someone who is neither religious or a believer in God.
I now believe that MAJOR evolution is on very shaky ground and should possibly no longer be taught as science. DNA for example could not have happened just by random mutations. It’s mathematically impossible. It is more complex than the most complete computer program developed today and even in the time given could not arrange itself to the level of complexity required just by chance.
So what is the answer. I don’t know. But this doe snot make major evolution (or the bible) right.
But like with money and banking people hold onto beliefs even if flawed. Or new evidence (on the structure of DNA, RNA protein etc) makes a theory impossible. But start the brainwashing on young people early enough and it forms part of an belief system that people will hold onto no matter what.

Yes, you hit on it. Belief in the face of evidence is what this site is all about.
As for it being “mathematically impossible” for RNA to have assembled by chance, I suspect the mathematics are more favorable for evolution than for alternative theories, especially considering the gigantic body of evidence that supports it.
By the way, could you answer a question for me? Why do I have toenails?

If it was “mathematically impossible” it wouldn’t have happened. It’s really that simple. Evolution is a scientific phenomenon that can be observed by anyone, and the Theory of Evolution is one of the strongest scientific theories that exist. It’s been built on for like 150 years now. It predicted DNA like 100 years before it was observed. Do not be fooled by any so-called “controversy” that only exists with certain political parties and religions.

Right. I always ask evolution deniers, that same silly question: “Why do I have toenails?” Actually, it’s a fundamental question, which the deniers struggle to answer, because they haven’t a clue..
Then I ask debt-hawks: What are the differences between Monetary Sovereignty and monetary non-sovereignty?” They also haven’t a clue.
