Seven questions. One answer.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.

Lord Caton, 1887

SEVEN QUESTIONS. ONE ANSWER

Answer: The murder of American citizens and the destruction of the great American experiment in moral leadership and democracy.King Trump stepping on poor people who are lying on the ground

Question 2. For the U.S. Supreme Court:  What happens when you tell a President, “Do whatever you want, so long as you claim it’s part of your job?”

Question 3. For the Republican Party: What happens when you fail to do your job, and, like cowardly, mindless zombies, support everything a dishonest President wants, no matter how outrageous?

Answer: The murder of American citizens and the destruction of the great American experiment in moral leadership and democracy.

Question 4, For the right-wing media and opinion setters like Fox News, Heritage Foundation, Tucker Carlson, Mark Levin, and Laura Loomer et al:  What happens when you promulgate lies and bigotry by excusing every hateful lie and act a psychopathic leader says and does?

Answer: The murder of American citizens and the destruction of the great American experiment in moral leadership and democracy.

Question 5. For America’s Christian right-wing religious leaders: What happens when you ignore Jesus’s teachings, and coat every bigoted obscenity and hateful act with a varnish of holiness and godliness, while failing to rail against evil?

Answer: The murder of American citizens and the destruction of the great American experiment in moral leadership and democracy.

Question 6. For the American voter: What happens when you renounce all sense of honor and decency by voting for an obviously bigoted politician who helps destroy families and family values because the devil hasn’t yet come for you?

Answer: The murder of American citizens and the destruction of the great American experiment in moral leadership and democracy.

Question 7. For all Americans: What happens when you close your eyes to evil because you “Won’t talk politics” with your friends and don’t bother to protest to your Congresspeople, despite the fires burning all around you?

Answer: The murder of American citizens and the destruction of the great American experiment in moral leadership and democracy.

Of this you can be sure: there will be more murders and more suffering, tomorrow and the days after, because evil never departs once it is welcomed at the door.

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

  1. BLOOMBERG: The Trump administration showed few signs of conciliation Thursday amid growing fury in Minneapolis and other cities over an immigration agent’s killing of a 37-year old woman. Protests spread to New York, Boston, Portland, Oregon, and elsewhere as fresh demonstrations in Minnesota resulted in clashes with masked federal agents

Minnesota officials Thursday said the US Justice Department blocked state and local law enforcement agencies from taking part in the homicide investigation just as aides to President Donald Trump, and Trump himself, repeated claims the shooting of Renee Nicole Good was justified. The Minnesota Star Tribune identified the ICE agent who shot her as Jonathan Ross.

This morning, news organizations published frame-by-frame analyses of the incident that appeared to contradict administration claims the killing was in self-defense. Reporting by the New York Times and the Washington Post showed Good’s vehicle was turning away from and passing the agent as he shot her at point-blank range.

Good’s killing, and the administration’s near instantaneous defense of it, is the latest in a series of ICE-related deaths in which video and eyewitness accounts eventually cast doubt on government claims of justification. On Thursday, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz made the extraordinary statement that he doubted an investigation by the US Department of Justice would yield a “fair outcome,” given statements by Trump aides which he said are “verifiably false.”

Walz’s comments came after a year in which the Justice Department’s credibility has been deeply questioned. US Attorney General Pam Bondi and Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel recently oversaw unprecedented criminal investigations into perceived enemies of Trump, including former FBI Director James Comey, following public urgings by the president.

The Times reported Thursday that the Justice Department is pursuing a new criminal investigation of New York Attorney General Letitia James.

And while this afternoon Vice President JD Vance said at a White House press conference that there would be a full investigation into Good’s killing, he added that he believed the ICE agent who killed her had absolute immunityDavid E. Rovella

MAGA Is Already Rewriting the ICE Shooting in Minneapolis

The federal government’s narrative of the Minneapolis shooting conflicts wildly with video footage of the incident shared online.

Trump administration officials and MAGA world are attempting to rewrite the shooting in Minneapolis.

The shooting took place on Wednesday morning when several masked agents—later identified by Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin as members of the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agency—approached a vehicle. Video footage shared on social media appears to show a masked agent ask the driver to get out of the vehicle before grabbing the door handle. At this point, the driver appears to reverse, before driving forward and turning. Another masked federal officer, standing near the front of the vehicle, pulls out a gun and fires at the vehicle, killing Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old woman.

The masked officer who fired at the vehicle was identified by the Minnesota Star Tribune as ICE agent Jonathan Ross. McLaughlin did not immediately respond to an email asking if DHS could confirm the Star Tribune’s reporting.

Almost immediately, federal government officials portrayed Good as the perpetrator. Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem called Good’s actions an act of “domestic terrorism,” adding that the victim had “weaponized her vehicle” and that the agent involved had simply “followed his training.”

Later on Wednesday in a Truth Social post, president Donald Trump wrote that Good had “viciously” run over the agent while blaming the “radical left.”

In a press conference on Thursday morning, Noem doubled down, once again calling Good a “domestic terrorist,” while falsely claiming the agents involved were “surrounded and assaulted and blocked in by protesters.”

On Thursday, vice president JD Vance claimed Good was “a victim of left-wing ideology” and that she had “[thrown] their car in front of ICE officers,” adding, “You’ve got to be a little brainwashed.”

The administration’s effort to immediately spin the narrative, and deflect the blame from the agents Trump has empowered to target communities across the country, is something the current administration has done repeatedly.

This case, however, is arguably one of the more egregious examples thus far, given how wildly the sanctioned government narrative diverges from the reality shown in video footage of the incident shared online.

MAGA world influencers very quickly fell in line. Trump’s decision to blame the “radical left” was echoed by his loudest supporters online, some of whom predicted mass violence from the left as a result of the incident.

“She was trying to stage an illegal blockade of the road to interfere with ICE agents and then rammed her car into one of them when they attempted to apprehend her,” podcaster Matt Walsh wrote on X, in a post viewed nearly 700,000 times. “This isn’t even a close call. Entirely justified. She is 100 percent to blame for her own death.”

Video footage of the incident appears to directly contradict Walsh’s claim that Good “rammed her car” into the agent who shot her through the windshield and the driver’s window.

Local politicians also disputed this claim: Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey called the administration’s version of events “bullshit” and a “garbage narrative.”

Frey also said ICE should “get the fuck out of Minneapolis.” Minnesota governor Tim Walz also rejected the government’s narrative, instead blaming Trump’s policies which, he said, are “designed to generate fear, headlines, and conflict … Today that recklessness cost someone their life.”

That didn’t deter other influencers and content creators, however. “The Minneapolis ICE shooting can now be 100% confirmed to be self defense from this new video,” Robby Starbuck, a visiting fellow with the hugely influential Heritage Foundation, wrote on X.

“The deceased anti-ICE driver clearly HIT the ICE agent that opened fire with her car. This is textbook self defense.”

COMMENT: THANK GOD FOR VIDEO EVIDENCE.
