A day in the life of Donald Trump

“Yes, I sent your parents to Alligator Auschwitz, without a trial, but I don’t need a trial. I already know who is guilty of crimes.

“And yes, I cancelled the financing of school lunches, but we can’t afford you. You’re brown. We don’t have enough for ourselves. If you were white or could pay $5 million for a gold card, I’d let you stay. As everyone knows, rich, white people are not criminals.

“And do not ask me about Epstein. The men in my group would have acted the same way I did, and the women are OK with being groped because I’m a star.”

Trump with a warehouse filled with food, refuses to give food to starving children who are begging.
They keep crying, ” Please, Mr. President. We need our parents. We need food. Why are you so mean to us?’ You bleeding heart libs call it cruel, but that’s the whole point. My MAGAs enjoy cruelty. Without cruelty, lies, hatred and bigotry, I would have nothing to offer my base. It’s all they really ask for. Destroy families; destroy lives. They love it.

Trump is watching poor immigrants being pushed onto a plane to be deported
“Stop whining. Yes, very few of you are criminals, and yes, you’re valuable to America. But I don’t care. After you spend a few months in Alligator Auschwitz, we’ll send you someplace even worse. That’s how I get votes.

Trump is watching starving, shirtless prisoners in an outdoor barbed wire jail named "Alligator Alcatraz}
“Let’s see: Blazing heat and humidity? Check. Sunburn? Check. Mosquitos? Check. Disease? Check. Starvation? Check. Separation from your wives and children? Check. Deportation to even more horrifying conditions? Check. And you haven’t been convicted of a crime? Check. Sure, I know what the Constitution says about cruel and unusual punishment and habeas corpus, but don’t expect the Roberts court to protect you. I own them. They have already made me the Führer.”

Trump is ripping up data reports
“My MAGAs won’t like these numbers. I promised the MAGAs better numbers. So, you’re fired. The next guy better get me good numbers. I don’t care how he gets them, but they better be good, or he’ll be fired, too. I will even lend him my Sharpie so he can make good numbers.

“YES, THIS IS A FAKE PHOTO to get your attention. Just because I was a close friend of Jeffrey Epstein, it doesn’t mean I did what my pal, Jeff, did. I’m a married man, and I’m well known for my fidelity to my three wives. Do not believe the claims made by Stormy Daniels, Karen McDougal, Jessica Leeds, Rachel Crooks, Karena Virginia, Jill Harth, Bridget Sullivan, Tasha Dixon, Mindy McGillivray, Jessica Drake, Ninni Laaksonen, Summer Zervos, E. Jean Carroll and a “Jane Doe” who claimed I raped her at age 13 in Epstein’S parties. I never met those women. I promised to release all the files, but you really didn’t believe I’d keep that promise, did you? “

Trump is confused. He is pointing in many directions at once.
“Every day, I flip-flop on tariffs – up, down, sideways, 20 days, 40 days. They say that no one will invest in new production or research, or employ more workers, because it all might change tomorrow. But I’ll blame it on Biden and Obama. Oops, another 90-day extension on China. Everyone says I’m a TACO.  Between you and me, I have no idea what I am doing,  but I pretend it’s a deep plan. Did I tell you my “take” rules? Always take the credit. Always take the money. Always take the airplane gifts. If they ask a hard question, always take offense. Always take the 5th. But never take the blame.”

Donald Trump is a banana republic colonel sitting on a throne
“Soldiers are suckers who gave their lives for their country. I dodged the draft — heel spurs —  but I know more than generals. I’ll invade DC by claiming that ‘Our capital city has been overtaken by violent gangs and bloodthirsty criminals, roving mobs of wild youth, drugged-out maniacs, and homeless people.’ It’s a lie, but that never matters. Lots of blacks and browns there, so MAGAs will believe me. I’ll ship the homeless out. Let someone else worry about them. Maybe Alligator Auschwitz has some room. DeSantis will do anything I say. Do you like the uniform? I designed it. Gave myself some medals. Melania designed the throne.

Trump is with Sec of Health, Robert F. Kennedy, JR., at a gravesite.
“Was he vaccinated, Bob?” “No, Mr. President, he took hydroxychloroquine.” “Too bad, Bob, we could have blamed the vaccine.” “I’ll do it anyway, Mr. President.” “I’m confused, Bob.” “Me too, Mr. President.” “Bob, can we just blame Biden and Obama, as usual? Let’s talk about the fake insurrection. I pardoned them all. It was just a normal visitors’ day. These patriots should not have been punished.

One Year After the Capitol Insurrection, Philanthropy Must Step Up Efforts to Restore National Solidarity and Trust
Trump: “. . . violent gangs and bloodthirsty criminals, roving mobs of wild youth, drugged-out maniacs and homeless people . . . ” — I pardoned them all.

MONETARY SOVEREIGNTY

The inflation excuse for not feeding hungry children.

I. ARE WE SHORT OF MONEY?

No.

Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan: “There is nothing to prevent the federal government from creating as much money as it wants and paying it to somebody.”

II. WILL FEDERAL SPENDING REQUIRE A TAX INCREASE?

No.

March 12, 2009 quote from former Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke when he was on 60 Minutes: Scott Pelley: Is that tax money that the Fed is spending?

Ben Bernanke: It’s not tax moneyWe simply use the computer to mark up the size of the account.

III. WILL FEDERAL SPENDING CAUSE INFLATION?

No.

There is a very close relationship between inflation (blue) and the cost of oil (yellow), which is determined by supply.

There is no relationship between federal deficit spending (red) and inflation (blue).

hungry children separated from huge piles food by guards
Sorry kids, we don’t have enough for you. Anyway, it might cause inflation.

While there is no relationship between federal deficit spending and inflation (lower graph), there is a strong relationship between oil prices and inflation (upper graph).

Inflation is not caused by federal deficit spending or by “too much money.”

Inflation is caused by shortages of crucial goods and services, especially by shortages of food and/or oil.

IV. BUT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CUTS SPENDING.

1. Pandemic-Era Local Food Programs Cut

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has ended two pandemic-era programs—Local Foods for Schools (LFS) and Local Food Purchase Assistance—which had supplied over $1 billion to schools and food banks to buy from local producers.

About $660 million specifically helped schools buy food for meals

With this funding gone, many districts, especially underfunded ones, and local food suppliers are likely to experience significant strain

2. Funding Cuts Threaten Universal Free School Meals

A Congressional proposal could impose $12 billion in cuts over 10 years by narrowing access to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allows high-need schools to serve free meals to all students. The proposal would raise CEP eligibility thresholds from 25% to 60%, potentially removing 24,000 schools—and impacting 12 million students—from the program

States like Ohio, Wisconsin, and Massachusetts are warning that such cuts could end universal free meals and impose burdensome paperwork on families and school staff

  3. Broader Food Assistance Cuts Loom Proposed reductions in programs like SNAP and Medicaid would likely reduce free school meal access, as eligibility for these programs helps streamline school meal enrollment.

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and school nutrition advocates warn that these would harm children’s access to meals and increase administrative burdens

V. WHY DOES THE FEDERAL  GOVERNMENT CUT SPENDING?

There are two reasons. The first is public ignorance about the federal government’s unlimited ability to spend without levying taxes (aka Monetary Sovereignty).

Second, taking advantage of public ignorance, the very rich in America spread the disinformation that federal spending is unaffordable and causes inflation. They do this to widen the income/wealth/power Gap between the rich and the rest.

The Gap makes them rich. Without the Gap, they would not be rich. We all would be the same. The wider the Gap, the richer they are.

Benefits like school lunch, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare and other anti-poverty programs help narrow the Gap, the last thing the rich want.

The rich want a permanent corps of hungry, needy people who are forced to do the nation’s menial tasks for low wages. The very rich ask, “If we help them financially, who will pick up the garbage? Who will bend over to pick the berries in hot fields?”

The answer, of course, is people earning a living wage and advanced machines to do the back-breaking work. Women, children, and the elderly, working in hot fields with no benefits is not the answer for a first-world nation wishing to be admired and respected.

The desire for slavery never has left the rich.

So they bribe the politicians, the media, and the economics professors to promulgate the Big Lies that federal finances are like personal finances, that spending cuts are “prudent,”  and that the federal government “can’t afford” to pay for benefits.

The federal government has the power to create an American paradise on earth, if only the public would demand it.

How Trump’s tariffs will affect you.

Trump is fueling his inflation.

Yes, his tariffs will raise the prices you pay for everything. In addition, it won’t be foreigners who pay his tariffs. It will be you — a double whammy.

But you won’t mind because you’ll be helping to support a Brazilian dictator, a Trump pal.

If you want to see an illustration of Trump’s tariffs, here it is.

United States's Uncle Sam is in his costume. He is running away. He is stealing a woman's purse. The woman is chasing hi...
Uncle Sam steals tax money from consumers. Trump boasts about the government stealing billions of dollars from AMERICAN CONSUMERS. His tariffs are a sneaky SALES TAX.

Donald Trump has just created the biggest sneaky sales tax increase on consumers,  mostly middle-income and lower-income consumers, in American history.

And the MAGAs applaud.

The very rich are not the big consumers. They are investors. It is you, middle-income and lower-income people, who are the consumers. You will pay the vast majority of his tariffs.

By this time next year, no knowledgeable person will admit to being a MAGA, and you who trusted Trump will be broke.

And to make sure you’re broke, he also will cut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, food stamps, school lunches, and every other benefit for those who aren’t rich.

He will not reduce tax loopholes for the rich, however.
