Everything Donald Trump is naming after himself in America – see the list
Right from Trump Towers, Trump steaks, Trump vodka and the Trump Taj Mahal Casino, many of his businesses are named after him. He has extended this naming tradition widely in the second term of his presidency, by naming important monuments after himself, and other more permanent aspects of governance like currency notes.
While naming streets and landmarks after national leaders is not uncommon, the scale of Trump’s name across government is a relatively new approach. It comes after Donald Trump made a disturbing sex comment on stage that silenced the alarmed audience.
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts added Trump’s name to the institution in December 2025. The decision came after Trump appointed allies and took over the institution’s board. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the facility was renamed in Trump’s honor “because of the unbelievable work President Trump has done over the last year in saving the building.”
In December 2025, again, President Donald J. Trump Boulevard came into existence after a 4-mile stretch of Southern Boulevard was renamed in honor of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago golf club in Palm Beach, Florida.
A few weeks ago, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation to rename the Palm Beach International Airport after the president.
The Trump administration renamed the United States Institute of Peace after the president in December 2025. This was seen in a picture shared by the State Department, showing the building with “Donald J. Trump” in silver lettering.
Not just important locations and monuments, the president has tried to etch his name on currency notes, prescription medicines and gold coins.
Trump’s signature is set to appear on all future U.S. paper currency, starting with the $100 bill, according to an announcement by the U.S. Treasury on March 26. This will be the first time in history that a sitting president will be commemorated on a bank note.
A commemorative gold coin is set to be released as part of the U.S. 250th year of independence this year, featuring the president’s image.
Trump’s name is also set to appear in a prescription drug program released by the government under “TrumpRx”, where Americans can buy medications at lower prices. The site launched in February this year, with Trump saying it would allow people “to save a lot of money and be healthy.”
Aside from this, reports have emerged that Trump’s staff floated the idea of renaming New York City’s Penn Station after him. In late March, the Louisiana House of Representatives passed a bill that would name a proposed new Mississippi River bridge after the president.
And no, this does not prove Trump is a demented, insecure, mean=spirited, selfish, psychotic, bigoted, hate-mongering, lying, law-breaking, addled, unqualified, low-IQ, greedy, cowardly, cheating, draft-dodging, amoral, convicted felon, embarrassment for America — although many people may say he is.
